This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use papingu.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have. PAPINGU L.L.C. (“papingu”) is the data controller.
Who we are
PAPINGU L.L.C., based in Prishtina. Contact: hello@papingu.com. We do not have a designated EU representative; if you are in the EU and want to reach us about your data, email is the fastest route.
What we collect
We collect three kinds of information:
- Information you give us — when you contact us by email or via a form, we receive your email address and anything you choose to send.
- Information collected automatically — when you visit the Site, our hosting provider and analytics service may log technical data: IP address (often truncated), browser and device type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.

Why we use it
To answer your enquiries and provide any services you have engaged us for; to operate, secure, and improve the Site; to understand which content is useful; and to meet legal obligations.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Depending on the processing, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — running, securing, and analysing the Site.
- Consent — non-essential cookies and tracking.
- Contract — when you become a client.
- Legal obligation — record-keeping where required by law.
Who we share it with
We use trusted sub-processors to operate the Site: Vercel (hosting) and Google Analytics (anonymised analytics — only when consent is given). We do not sell personal data. We may share data with authorities if legally compelled.
International transfers
Some of our sub-processors are based outside Kosovo and the EU. Where that is the case, we rely on the standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards they put in place.
How long we keep it
Contact emails: up to 24 months after the last exchange, unless we are required to keep them longer. Analytics: aggregated and anonymised; raw events are retained no longer than 14 months.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@papingu.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; we strive to be honest about that.
